Raised in Southern California, Dr. Emad Mikhail graduated from the University of California at Irvine with a degree in biological sciences. He attended medical school at the University of Southern California and graduated a Dean's Scholar. He then went on to complete his Internal Medicine training at University of California, Irvine Medical Center.
Dr. Mikhail has attained many awards of excellence in patient satisfaction and quality of care, including the Hagadorn Award at Bristol Park Medical Group. Greater Newport Physicians also named him Physician of the year for the years 2006 & 2007. Most recently he attained the highest patient satisfaction score for 2007 at 99.7 percent.
He is a diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine and vice chair of medicine at Irvine Regional Hospital. He is currently president of Irvine Internal Medical Group. He has spoken at various scientific meetings and is well respected among his peers and colleagues.
In his spare time, Dr. Mikhail enjoys spending time with his two children, wife, and his dog Fred.
